Residential Dwelling
The conversion of a large garage into a 2 bedroom property. The project had already been granted planning permission after appeal by a previous architectural firm, however the client was not happy with the design that had gained approval. The building is situated at the foot of an existing property's extensive garden, but is surrounded by other housing. It is this location which had attracted a lot of controversy within the community. Through consultation with the neighbours, the client and the local planning office, we successfully acquired planning permission for a more extensive scheme which was better received by the local community than the previous proposal.
