Educational Renovation

Nominated for Leeds Architecture Award 2009.

A renovation project of a primary school located in the inner city district of Burley, Leeds. Completed in three stages, the works focused on revitalising the aging building and providing a strong image within the community.

Phase 1 : New entrance and office areas at the front of the building. Brief to create a bright and striking statement that incorporated the school's colours.
Phase 2 : Renovation of existing "After School Club" building, new I.T. suite above, and provide a covered connection to the rest of the school.
Phase 3 : Renovation of the school hall and the adjoining playground area.
