Extension & Garages to Grade 1 Listed Building.

Part 1
The property: A Grade 1 listed building in the village of Aldborough near Wetherby.
The brief: A high spec show room & storage facility for a collection of classic and modern sports cars.
The client had clear ideas for the location - A strip of land running alongside the garden perimeter wall: a registered monument. After consultation with the planning department & monument council, as well as the very specific requirements of the client, we successfully attained planning and registered monument permission.

Part 2
Proposal of a garden room, the remodeling of an altered portico on the main building and a glazed entrance reception to allow guests to arrive by car, disembark and enter the house in the dry. Again after consultations with the relevant departments, a successful design was approved.
